OC alumna Justina LeeStolz celebrates the Okanagan’s most Awesome People
Justina LeeStolz is a real estate professional in the Okanagan and also runs several passion projects.
One of those projects is the 100AwesomePeople project that LeeStolz launched to celebrate the many awesome people in the community. The project, podcast and YouTube channel highlight the businesses and side hustles that have gone to great lengths to make a social impact in the Okanagan. Many of the awesome people that LeeStolz has highlighted are fellow OC alums, and staff from the College.
“The original idea was a collaboration with Odlum Brown Financial Advisor, Jennifer Throne, in an effort for us to connect with influential, change-makers in our community,” says LeeStolz. “We figured if we were meeting them and they had awesome stories of how they got to where they are, we should share those with the greater community.”
LeeStolz also runs a second project, Tour the Town, which is a business affiliate program that provides exclusive discounts and deals at local businesses in an effort to encourage people to support local.
As if she isn’t busy enough, LeeStolz also spends her time volunteering with organizations such as Festivals Kelowna, Ballet Kelowna, The Kelowna Salsa Community, JCI Kelowna and The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce.
Her hard work and hustle earned her a nomination for BDO’s Top 40 Under 40 as well as Kelowna Women in Business’s Change Maker Award which is given to an individual who demonstrates inclusivity, is an advocate for change, and helps to make Kelowna a better place to live. Due to COVID-19, the awards ceremony has been postponed until the fall.
